Responsibility:

As the President of the Engineering Council, I am responsible for scheduling meetings and creating agendas for these meetings. I also keep society members informed of activities and help advise the council’s officers of their responsibilities. As the President, I assign tasks and projects that are meant to benefit the whole engineering student body. The most crucial role as the President of The Engineering Council is to interface and to update other society organizations about the council’s plans and agenda. Finally, I interface with the College of Engineering by maintain a relation with the deans and higher staff members.

Responsibility:

I am responsible for recruiting and retaining members. To ensure member of the council stay active, attendance is taken at every meeting. It is my job to create an email list that is updated periodically. I use this list as an outlet to our members by keeping them informed of the council’s meeting, events and career opportunities. I also assist members with volunteering opportunities within Engineering Council.

Responsibility:

I am responsible for Planning and Coordinating Activities. To ensure member of the council stay active, I work with other engineering organizations to set up events like Dinner with the Deans.

Eugeni Nikolov

Responsibility:

As the Treasurer, I make sure that the Council has enough cash to fund its future events and that its account is balanced. I am also responsible to pay and keep track of the society expenses by creating and maintaining a balanced budget. I also work with other societies to set up their finances and also reimburse them whenever the Council agrees to fund the society’s event.

My responsibility is to create advertisements for all events specified and make sure that the Councils events are all published.
